Ann-Marie attended the 6th Tyne and Wear Open held at Rainton Meadows aiming to win the title she won at the 2nd Tyne and Wear Open.
She achieved this goal getting through a field of 67 players by beating Kirtsy Hutchinson of Co. Durham 4-3 in the final winning with a 21.23 average, on her way to the final she defeated Winmau World Masters winner Linda Irthurralde 3-0 in the quarter finals.

Ann-Marie attended the Scottish Open where she had a run to the last 32 before finally succumbing to her international teammate Julie Gore 3-0, on her way to the last 32 she defeated Tracy Donaldson (EST) 3-2 and Yvonne Smith (GRA) 3-0.
She also reached the last 32 of the ladies pairs with Louise Carroll before losing to Irina Armstrong and Louise Hepburn.

Ann-Marie had a successful weekend in the respect she reached two finals at the Yorkshire Classic where she was beaten 3-1 in final of the singles by Lousie Carroll (23.24) and AMP averaged 22.80 in return.
She also reached the finals of the mixed triples with partner, Scott 'Coffeeman' McParlin and Cleveland's Glenn Moody where they were beaten 2-0 in the final by the Yorkshire trio of John 'Boy' Walton, Jane Stubbs and Martin ' The Assassin' Atkins.
12/13 September
Ann-Marie went down to the Welsh Masters held in Rhyl over the weekend of 12/13 and herself and Scott reached the final of the Mixed Pairs losing to Deta Hedman and Brian 'Pecker' Woods in the final 2-0
In the ladies pairs, Ann-Marie and Alana Allsopp reached the last 32 and lost 2-1, and in the singles AMP reached the last 32 also beating Veronica Hughes 3-1 (Grampian) and Heather Jones (Pembrokeshire) 3-0 before losing to the eventual winner Karen Lawman (Yorkshire) 0-3.
Next tournament for AMP is the British Open in Bridlington held over weekend of 19/20 September
4th-6th September
Ann-Marie went to Bridlington for the World Pro Play-Offs in an attempt to qualify for the World Championships held at the Lakeside in January and unfortunately fell 2 games short from achieving this after narrowly losing to Frances Lawson (Lothian) 3-1 in the last 16.
AMP had beaten Sarah Roberts (Clwyd) 3-0, Alana Allsopp (Avon) 3-0 narrowly missing thedoubles for checkouts of 150, 160 and 170 in winning the legs and Dee Bateman (Yorkshire) 3-2 before her defeat.
In the Winmau World Masters also held in Bridlington, Ann-Marie unfortunately fell at the first hurdle losing to Michelle Sassong of Germany 4-3.
27th July
Ann-Marie had another good run at the British Classic held in Kettering on the 25th July where she reached the last 16, she beat Dawn Standley in the 1st Round in a tight game 3-2 and then went on to beat Linda Searle 3-1 and Jo Sibley 3-1 before losing to eventual runner-up Karen Lawman 3-2.
20th July
Ann-Marie had a successful weekend in Stockport at the weekend (18/19) qualifying as the Northern Representative for the Winmau World Masters being held in Bridlington in September, worthy to note she also never dropped a leg en route to qualifying.
On the Sunday, she played in the British Masters where she reached the quarter-finals where she beat Dawn Shaw 3-0, Olive Byamukama 3-0 before losing to the eventual English Masters Champion Trina Gulliver 3-2.
8th July 2009
Ann-Marie has returned from the Welsh Classic held in Rhyl over the weekend of 4-5th July gaining more valuable BDO Invitation table points in reaching the last 16 where she was defeated by fellow Welsh International, Rhian Edwards. 3-1, Ann-Marie had defeated Julie Williams 3-1, Jane Shearing 3-1 and Gaynor Williams 3-0 before losing to Rhian.
Ann-Marie also reached the last 32 of the mixed pairs with her partner Scott McParlin before losing 2-1 to her fellow Welsh Internationals Stephen Cake and Rhian Edwards.
She also reached the Quarter-Finals of the ladies pairs with Alana Allsopp before losing to England internationals Tricia Wright and Dee Bateman who won the ladies pairs competition.
Ann-Marie, Scott McParlin and Kevin Simm (Cheshire) won the Mixed Triples beating Tony O'Shea, Gill O'Shea and Darryl Fitton in the final.

Ann-Marie has returned from the England Open held in Selsey over the weekend (26-28 June), she reached the last 16 of the ladies singles beating Julie Saidanha 3-0, Suzanne Smith 3-1, Sally Dowell 3-2, Sue Waterman 3-2 before losing to Lynn Kelly 3-2 in the board final gaining BDO invitional points.
She also reached the semi-fnals of the ladies pairs with Alana Allsopp and the last 16 of the mixed with her partner 'The Coffeeman' Scott McParlin.

Ann-Marie had a succesful weekend of darts where she was part of the Welsh ladies squad who won their first BDO British Internationals title since 1997.
On Saturday, Ann-Marie made a winning debut to her international career beating Linda Marshall of Scotland 3-0 with a 24.24 average and gaining the lady of the match award for Wales. Wales beat Scotland 4-2.
On Sunday, Ann-Marie was drawn against the English Captain and former World Champion, Trina Gulliver, and despite getting beat 3-0, the game was a lot closer than the scoreline suggests with Ann-Marie hitting a 22.46 average.
Wales beat England 4-2 to lift the title.

WALES INTERNATIONAL SQUADS FOR 2009
Wales have awarded three new caps in the six changes they have made to their International Squads for 2009.
Two of the newcomers are in the Women's Squad, which will see Clwyd's Glad Davies and Ann-Marie Potts of Tyne & Wear making their first appearance on the International stage.
Adrian Rees of Gwent is the only debutante in the four changes to the Men's Squad, with the selectors recalling former Internationals Phil Evans (Breconshire), and the Glamorgan duo of David Neads and Kevin Thomas to the line-up.
